Nuzori Terms of Use

Version: 0.1
Prepared: 17 October 2026
Effective date: 17 October 2026
Operator: Nuzori Inc.

Draft for legal and operational review. Complete the bracketed business details and applicable regional schedules, and confirm the service practices before publication. The accompanying Legal Implementation and Research Memo identifies the decisions required for launch.

Important cancellation information

If a mandatory local law gives you a cooling-off period, cancellation right, refund, or other consumer protection, that right applies in addition to these Terms. You can cancel a Nuzori-billed subscription through the subscription controls in your account or by emailing hello@nuzori.app. Cancelling an ordinary renewal does not necessarily refund an earlier charge. Where cancellation creates a statutory or contractual refund right, we will process that refund without requiring a separate refund request. You do not have to contact another member to cancel.

California customers: If California's dating-service contract rules apply to your purchase, you may cancel without penalty or obligation before midnight of the third business day after the contract date. For this period, business days exclude Sundays and legal holidays. Send your cancellation notice to hello@nuzori.app, identifying your account and stating that you are cancelling the contract; a reason is not required. The seller is Nuzori Inc.. We will refund all payments under the qualifying cancelled contract within 10 days after receiving the cancellation notice. This summary accompanies the separately presented California purchase contract and its prescribed cancellation notice. Additional California rights appear in section 21.

New York customers: Where New York's social-referral-service rules apply, you may cancel without a cancellation fee within three business days after receiving the written contract electronically or physically. Send notice to hello@nuzori.app. We will refund all payments under a qualifying cooling-off cancellation within ten business days after receiving the notice. The New York Consumer Bill of Rights and any additional required purchase terms must be supplied with the applicable contract. Section 21 explains the launch condition for those purchases.

1. Agreement and operator

These Terms govern your use of Nuzori's website, mobile web application, waitlists, account features, discovery, messaging, and subscriptions, collectively the Service. Nuzori is operated by Nuzori Inc., a corporation. Our customer-service email is hello@nuzori.app.

When you create an account or purchase a subscription, we ask you to affirmatively accept the version of these Terms shown to you. The checkout disclosure and any applicable regional purchase schedule form part of your purchase contract. Merely viewing a public information page does not authorize us to charge you or process biometric information.

The Privacy Policy at Privacy Policy explains how personal information is handled. Accepting these Terms is not a substitute for a separate consent required for biometrics, sensitive profile information, marketing, or a particular data transfer. Where a policy addresses personal-information use, we apply the Privacy Policy and mandatory law; a content licence in these Terms does not expand that use.

If the Service is not acceptable to you, do not create an account or purchase access. You may still use publicly available information, cancellation, privacy-request, and safety-reporting routes where relevant. At purchase, we will provide a durable electronic copy of the accepted contract, checkout details, applicable regional schedule, and confirmation. You may also save these Terms or request an accessible or retainable copy from support.

2. What Nuzori provides

Nuzori helps eligible adults make private, consensual, non-transactional social connections. The Service supports local residents and travelers seeking casual connections, one-time encounters, or ongoing friends-with-benefits arrangements, subject to their own boundaries and applicable law. Local Mode and Trip Mode are different discovery contexts within the same member network.

The Service provides introductions and communication tools. It does not sell a person's availability, arrange sexual services, accept payments between members, hold encounter deposits, or guarantee a meeting or relationship. Membership fees pay for Nuzori features. They do not purchase another person's attention, response, photos, company, or consent.

Service availability depends on supported cities, countries, eligibility, technical capacity, and safety and legal requirements. A public waitlist or invitation does not mean that discovery is already available in that city. A feature described as planned, experimental, or forthcoming is not included in a purchase unless the purchase description expressly says so.

The current Service does not include public feeds, livestreams, explicit-media sharing, travel bookings, in-person event management, or cryptocurrency payments. A future feature that materially changes these Terms or how information is used will require an appropriate notice and any necessary new consent before its introduction.

3. Adult eligibility and personal accounts

You must be at least 18 years old and meet any higher age threshold legally required for using the Service in your location. You must have legal capacity to enter into these Terms and must be allowed to use the relevant features where you are. Age-of-consent rules do not lower Nuzori's adult membership threshold.

Only a verified eligible adult may access member profiles, discovery, matches, or private messaging. An age declaration on a waitlist is not identity verification and does not provide member access. The same eligibility rules apply to every member, including invited, free, paying, local, and traveling members.

An account is for one real person acting on their own behalf. You may use a display alias, but the information supplied for verification must be accurate and belong to you. Do not share, lend, sell, or transfer an account, operate an account for another person, or create replacement accounts to evade a restriction. You may not use the Service as an agency, recruiter, commercial intermediary, or provider of paid sexual services.

If you believe an account belongs to an underage person, email hello@nuzori.app. Do not ask that person to send you an identity document or additional intimate material. We may immediately restrict discovery and communication while assessing eligibility and any necessary safeguarding steps.

4. Verification and its limits

Nuzori operates its own age and identity-review process. Depending on the supported document and workflow, the process may examine an identity document, extract relevant details, check document consistency, assess a live capture, compare a face with the document portrait, and refer a case to an authorized human reviewer. The collection notice and separate biometric notice explain the data and choices involved.

Nuzori does not outsource the verification decision to a third-party identity-verification service. Approved hosting and other infrastructure providers may support our systems under the arrangements described in the Privacy Policy. This distinction does not mean that all Service operations occur without processors or outside infrastructure.

Verification labels describe the checks actually performed. A reviewed document is not necessarily authenticated against its issuing government's records. We do not represent that a badge is a criminal-background check, medical assessment, STI test, assessment of relationship status, guarantee of honest intentions, or guarantee of safety. A declaration of a destination does not verify that someone is physically there.

We may request reverification when evidence expires, account details materially change, an account may be compromised, or proportionate fraud or eligibility concerns arise. We may limit relevant features during that review. We will explain the next steps without revealing detection methods or another person's confidential information.

You may request human review of a rejection or an accessible alternative through hello@nuzori.app. Where feasible and lawful, we will explain a route that does not require automated facial comparison. A request for an alternative does not bypass the adult eligibility requirement. If we cannot establish eligibility through a lawful supported method, the account cannot enter discovery.

Do not submit altered or borrowed documents, recorded or synthetic live captures, manipulated camera inputs, or images generated to impersonate another person. Do not attempt to reverse engineer verification decisions to defeat the safeguards.

5. Account security and contact details

Keep your sign-in credentials and recovery methods secure, use the available authentication protections, and notify hello@nuzori.app if you suspect unauthorized access. You are responsible for the information and actions you knowingly provide or authorize. These Terms do not make you automatically responsible for unauthorized activity resulting from Nuzori's failure to meet its own obligations.

Keep a working private contact address so we can send essential account, billing, safety, or legal notices. We use discreet notification defaults, but the Service cannot control shared devices, mailbox previews, browser history, password managers, bank statements, or notification settings outside Nuzori. You can adjust the controls described in the Service.

We may send essential service communications needed to operate your account or meet legal duties. Promotional communications use the separate marketing choices described in the Privacy Policy. Declining marketing does not remove access to safety tools or require you to accept more intrusive verification.

6. Discovery and Trip Mode

Discovery considers eligibility, reciprocal age and gender preferences, selected connection intentions, city, availability, privacy choices, and relevant safety restrictions. You control the information and preferences you choose to provide. Recommendations do not certify compatibility or predict whether another person will agree to contact or meet you.

A profile or trip becomes discoverable only under the applicable visibility settings. You may pause discovery, change preferences, or remove a trip. We do not operate a public searchable member directory or display precise live locations or exact-distance indicators. Please do not place a home address, hotel, room number, flight details, or sensitive contact information in discoverable content.

Trip Mode uses a destination and declared dates. A trip remains hidden until you activate its discovery visibility. The Service may show an eligible person a limited destination and availability indication; it does not publish your full itinerary or other hidden trips. Travel and local preferences must be reciprocal for an introduction.

When a trip expires, it stops generating new trip-based recommendations. Existing consensual conversations may continue until either member ends them. Changing or cancelling a trip does not book, cancel, insure, or reimburse travel. You remain responsible for your own travel decisions and arrangements.

Cities may have limited compatible availability. Nuzori does not guarantee a minimum number of introductions, responses, conversations, or meetings except to the extent a specific lawful purchase commitment expressly provides otherwise. We will not use fabricated members, paid chat agents pretending to be matches, or invented activity to imply demand.

7. Mutual interest and continuing consent

Private messaging requires mutual interest and the applicable permission settings. Permission to start a conversation does not create permission to send any kind of message, reveal private information, record someone, or make sexual contact.

Consent must be freely given, specific, informed, and continuing. A match, profile preference, shared photo, accepted invitation, subscription, previous encounter, or trip listing is not consent to intimacy. Any person may change their mind, stop replying, revoke media access, unmatch, block, or leave a meeting. Respect those decisions immediately.

Do not pressure, threaten, manipulate, blackmail, intoxicate, or otherwise undermine another person's ability to choose. Do not pursue contact through another account or channel after being blocked or clearly asked to stop. The Service's tools do not replace direct, respectful communication about boundaries.

We do not supervise in-person meetings or provide an emergency response service. If there is an immediate threat, use appropriate local emergency assistance. You may also report the incident to Nuzori so we can consider action within the Service.

8. Member conduct and prohibited uses

Use the Service lawfully and respect the privacy, dignity, and autonomy of other people. In particular, you must not:

  • Involve a minor, seek sexual interaction with a minor, exploit anyone, facilitate trafficking, or distribute child sexual abuse material.
  • Offer, request, advertise, arrange, or solicit money, cryptocurrency, goods, accommodation, gifts, or other benefits as a condition or inducement for sexual access or a compensated sexual arrangement.
  • Threaten, harass, stalk, extort, dox, maliciously expose someone's membership, or encourage violence or discrimination against a person or group.
  • Publish or transmit nudity or sexually explicit images or video through the current Service, including private-photo and messaging features. Lawful, mutually welcome discussion of intentions and boundaries is permitted; unsolicited graphic messages or sexual harassment are not.
  • Create, request, possess through the Service, or distribute intimate imagery without the depicted person's consent, including synthetic or manipulated sexual imagery, or threaten to distribute it.
  • Impersonate another person, misrepresent age, falsify verification, create deceptive accounts, run fake profiles, or use autonomous chat agents to impersonate a member.
  • Solicit investments, promote fraudulent schemes, request credentials or verification codes, or use romance or other manipulation to obtain funds or access to accounts.
  • Scrape or harvest profiles, build a database of members, identify aliases through external face searches, collect exact locations, or attempt to reconstruct a hidden profile or trip.
  • Upload malware, probe or bypass access controls, interfere with Service availability, defeat blocking or media permissions, or access another person's data without authorization.
  • Send spam, unsolicited commercial promotions, bulk invitations, or messages outside the reciprocal contact rules.
  • Misuse reports to punish rejection, fabricate evidence, coordinate harassment through reporting, or interfere with a good-faith investigation.
  • Infringe intellectual property, disclose another person's confidential information without authority, or use the Service for an unlawful purpose.

These rules apply to conduct on the Service and to relevant conduct between members elsewhere where there is a credible connection to member safety, fraud, or misuse of Nuzori. Authorized security testing must stay within a scope agreed with Nuzori or otherwise protected by applicable law; this provision does not prevent lawful vulnerability disclosure.

9. Private content and lawful evidence sharing

Do not copy, record, export, publish, sell, or share another member's profile, messages, photos, identity, or trip information outside its intended audience without the person's permission or another lawful justification. Permission to view content is not permission to redistribute it or upload it to an external AI, facial-recognition, or analysis service.

Revoking photo access prevents further access through Nuzori's controlled delivery mechanisms. It cannot reliably erase screenshots, recordings, downloaded files, another device's cache, or a person's memory. Never treat a disappearing view or an obscured photo as an absolute confidentiality guarantee.

The privacy rules do not prohibit a good-faith safety report, seeking support from a trusted adviser, obtaining legal advice, reporting a crime, complying with legal process, making a lawful consumer review, or preserving and sharing evidence where legally permitted. Share only what is reasonably needed and avoid exposing unrelated people. You do not need an alleged abuser's permission to report their conduct.

10. Content ownership and limited service licence

You retain any rights you have in content you upload or send. You must have authority to provide it and any required consent from identifiable adults depicted in it. Do not upload photos of children or content that violates section 8.

You give Nuzori a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to store, reproduce, encrypt, transmit, format, and display your content only as reasonably necessary to provide the requested Service, apply your visibility and recipient choices, maintain security, address reports, and comply with law. Worldwide scope reflects hosting and delivery; it does not make private content publicly available.

We may allow contracted service providers to perform those functions on our behalf under appropriate restrictions. This licence does not authorize use of member content in public advertising, sale of content, unrelated licensing, or training general-purpose AI or facial-recognition models. Separate, specific permission would be needed for a genuinely optional promotional use; refusal has no effect on ordinary membership.

The ordinary service licence ends when your content is deleted from active systems. Limited handling may continue for defined backup expiry, an applicable statutory duty, or a specific lawful preservation requirement under the Privacy Policy. Retaining evidence does not authorize marketing, public display, or unrelated reuse. Copies lawfully received by another person are subject to their obligations and applicable law.

The identity documents, verification captures, and biometric information you provide are processed under the specific verification notices and legal bases. They are not material Nuzori may use freely under this general content licence.

11. Nuzori intellectual property

Nuzori and its licensors retain rights in the software, interfaces, branding, and other materials they provide, excluding your content and third-party rights. Subject to these Terms, you may use the Service for your own personal, non-commercial social discovery while eligible.

Do not resell access, copy protected materials for an unrelated product, imply endorsement, or remove legal notices. Restrictions on copying, interoperability, or reverse engineering apply only to the extent permitted by law. Open-source components remain subject to their applicable licences.

12. Reports and removal requests

Blocking, reporting, and access to essential safety information do not require a paid subscription. Use the report control on a profile or conversation, or email hello@nuzori.app. People without accounts, former members, and authorized representatives can also report by email.

A useful report identifies the account or content, explains the concern, provides a safe way to contact you, and includes relevant evidence where lawful. Do not reshare suspected child sexual abuse material or unnecessary intimate images to make a report. Use the dedicated process and follow the reporting instructions.

For a nonconsensual intimate-image removal request, identify the specific depiction or its location, provide your physical or electronic signature and reliable contact information, and state in good faith that publication was without the depicted person's consent. An authorized representative may act for that person. We will make this process clear and accessible, assess whether additional information is genuinely necessary, and avoid burdensome identity demands.

Where the US TAKE IT DOWN Act applies, we will remove a covered intimate depiction as soon as possible and no later than 48 hours after receipt of a valid request, and make reasonable efforts to identify and remove known identical copies. We will follow any shorter applicable deadline. A clarification request does not extend a statutory deadline that has already begun. Removal from the Service is separate from narrow, lawful evidence preservation and does not require deletion contrary to a mandatory preservation obligation.

We may also act on image abuse or other violations under our own rules when a request does not meet a particular statute's formal requirements. Except where a legal removal obligation applies, a report is not a guarantee of a particular outcome. We restrict access to reporting and review information; a decision notice will not ordinarily disclose a reporter's identity or unrelated sensitive information.

Where applicable law requires it, we report apparent child sexual exploitation to the legally designated reporting body and securely preserve the specifically required report and contextual records for the required period. Reporting and preservation are separate from removing material and restricting accounts. These duties do not authorize general surveillance or retention of every member's communications.

Suspected intellectual-property infringement can be reported at [COPYRIGHT_CONTACT_EMAIL], identifying the protected work, the material, its location, your contact information, your authority, and why the use is unauthorized. We may terminate accounts of repeat infringers in appropriate circumstances, subject to applicable law and review. A copyright counter-notice or moderation appeal does not automatically restore content independently prohibited for nonconsent or another safety reason. You do not need to own copyright to report image abuse. We do not routinely disclose a member's legal identity merely because another person alleges infringement.

13. Moderation and review

We may assess reports, review permitted content, use security and eligibility controls, and seek relevant information to enforce these Terms. Authorized human reviewers and narrowly scoped automated tools may assist. The Privacy Policy explains access to data, including selected conversation evidence and the fact that the current messaging system is not represented as end-to-end encrypted.

Possible actions include a warning, removal of content, reduced feature access, reverification, temporary suspension, or account closure. We consider seriousness, reliability of evidence, context, previous relevant conduct, and risk to others. Urgent concerns may justify restricting access before completing a review.

Where appropriate and lawful, we will explain the action, the relevant rule, and the route to appeal. We may withhold details that would disclose confidential information, enable evasion, compromise an investigation, or conflict with law. We will not use that exception to remove any required explanation or remedy.

You may appeal by emailing hello@nuzori.app. Provide the decision reference and information you want considered. We will offer meaningful human review of a disputed verification rejection or significant account restriction where applicable, and avoid relying solely on the same automated result. Any stated internal appeal window does not reduce statutory complaint or court rights.

14. Free features and purchases

The Service identifies which features are free and which require payment. No purchase overrides verification, reciprocal interest, privacy choices, blocking, or safety restrictions. We do not charge for reporting a concern, blocking someone, or exercising statutory data rights except where law expressly permits a limited fee for abusive or excessive requests.

Before a purchase, checkout will state the seller, included features, price, currency, taxes or how they are calculated, subscription period, whether renewal is automatic, renewal price or pricing method, trial conditions, cancellation method, and any applicable refund rights. It will also identify any minimum commitment and allow you to review and correct the order before confirming it. We will deliver a durable purchase confirmation and the accepted terms, including applicable regional terms. Review and retain that information.

You authorize only charges clearly disclosed and accepted at checkout. Prices may vary by country, currency, plan, and openly described promotion; the applicable total is shown before purchase. Currency conversion or separate charges imposed by your bank are governed by your arrangement with that provider.

We use approved payment services. The Privacy Policy explains the information we receive, such as payment status and transaction references. The billing descriptor will be accurate and disclosed where practicable. We do not promise that a transaction is anonymous or invisible on a shared statement.

15. Renewals trials and price changes

A subscription renews automatically only where checkout clearly identifies automatic renewal and you affirmatively agree. Renewal occurs for the stated period at the disclosed charge until cancelled. A nonrenewing pass ends at its stated expiry and does not silently become a subscription.

If a free or discounted trial converts to a paid subscription, checkout will state the trial's end, first charge, ongoing price, billing frequency, and how to cancel before being charged. We send reminders and renewal notices when applicable law or the accepted offer requires them. Essential trial information will not be confined to a link to these Terms.

For Nuzori-billed subscriptions, cancellation is available through the account's subscription controls and hello@nuzori.app. The process must be straightforward and available without a forced call, unnecessary conversation, or unrelated questionnaire. We will confirm cancellation. A timely cancellation stops subsequent renewals; it does not automatically reverse a charge already properly incurred.

Changes to a recurring price or material paid feature apply prospectively after the notice required by law and the purchase terms. We will provide at least 30 days' advance notice of an increase to a Nuzori-billed renewal price, or longer where required. We will also send any additional reminder required within a statutory notice window. If consent is legally required, we will obtain it before charging the changed price. You may cancel before the change takes effect.

We will not impose a retroactive charge or treat silence as approval where affirmative consent is required. If a material reduction prevents delivery of an already paid entitlement, section 16 applies.

16. Cancellations refunds and billing disputes

You may cancel renewal at any time. Unless a refund, suspension rule, or regional right requires a different result, access continues until the paid period ends. Mandatory cooling-off, withdrawal, death, disability, service-failure, unfair-term, and other consumer rights remain available.

If Nuzori permanently withdraws a paid feature or closes your account for reasons unrelated to your breach before the paid period ends, we will stop Nuzori-controlled renewals and refund the unused portion of the affected payment, or provide a replacement only if you agree. If eligibility cannot be confirmed and you have paid for access we cannot supply, we will cancel the unavailable paid service and refund the undelivered portion, subject to any stronger legal right.

Where an account is restricted for a suspected or established violation, we will assess any refund using applicable law, the reason and duration of the restriction, and the service actually provided. There is no automatic confiscation of all payments simply because a complaint has been made or an account has been closed. A payment does not require us to restore unsafe or ineligible access.

For a billing error, contact hello@nuzori.app with the transaction reference and issue; do not send full payment-card details. We will investigate and correct improper charges. Contacting us does not waive your rights to dispute a payment with your provider or use a statutory remedy. We will not penalize a good-faith billing dispute solely because you used that right.

The initial Service takes payments only through the checkout arrangements it offers. If purchases through an app store are introduced later, that checkout will identify the responsible seller and subscription-management route. We will explain what we can cancel ourselves and how to contact the store; store rules do not remove nonwaivable consumer rights.

17. Pausing closing and deleting an account

Pausing discovery hides your profile from new recommendations under the relevant controls. It is not the same as deleting your information or cancelling a paid subscription. The pause screen will explain the effect on existing conversations and billing. You may cancel renewal while paused.

You may request account deletion through account settings or by emailing privacy@nuzori.app. Once the authenticated request is accepted, the account is removed from discovery, new interaction is disabled, and deletion proceeds under the Privacy Policy. Ordinary removal does not erase content or evidence someone lawfully copied outside the Service.

When you delete an account, or we permanently close it, we will cancel future renewals under Nuzori's billing control. We will notify you if any separately managed purchase requires a provider action and assist with the available route. Deletion and closure do not remove a refund you are entitled to receive.

Some information may need to be kept for a specific legal duty, a permitted dispute, or another narrowly justified purpose described in the Privacy Policy. We will apply any stricter local destruction requirement. We will not retain an entire intimate profile indefinitely merely by describing it as a safety record.

Contract provisions concerning accrued payment or refund rights, permitted evidence preservation, intellectual-property ownership, dispute handling, and duties that by nature continue may survive closure. Survival does not extend a content licence beyond section 10 or permit new marketing without the appropriate consent.

18. Waitlists invitations and founding benefits

A waitlist records interest in a city or launch update. It does not guarantee admission, a launch date, a place in a queue, compatible members, or priority in discovery. A requested launch notification and optional promotional messages have separate communication choices.

Invitations and referral codes may be restricted by city, expiry, use limits, or operational capacity. They do not verify a person or certify that an inviter knows them. Share a code manually only with consenting adults; do not upload address books, send spam, sell access, or publish another person's membership.

We do not show an inviter who opened an invitation, joined, failed verification, became active, or matched with someone. A benefit or status notification will not be used to reveal that information without the affected person's explicit choice. Campaign partners receive permitted aggregate information, not private member records.

Any founding-member benefit must state its scope, duration, expiry, and relevant conditions. It cannot buy contact with an unwilling member, ranking based on wealth, a verification badge, or exemption from conduct rules. We may revoke benefits obtained through abuse, with an appropriate explanation and review route.

19. Service standards and responsibility

We will provide the Service with the reasonable care and skill required by applicable law and honor the specific features and commitments included in your purchase. We may maintain, correct, secure, or update the Service. Where practicable, we will give notice of a material interruption or withdrawal affecting a paid entitlement and provide any remedy due.

The Service depends on technology and on information supplied by members. We cannot promise uninterrupted access, successful matches, an accurate prediction of behavior, or the absence of all fraud or unauthorized copying. These practical limits do not excuse Nuzori's failure to apply promised safeguards or meet mandatory duties.

To the extent the law allows, Nuzori is not responsible for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable from its breach, or for business losses arising from use of a service intended for personal use. Responsibility for a member's conduct depends on the circumstances and applicable law; these Terms do not release Nuzori from its own negligence or other legal obligations merely because another person was involved.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including applicable liability for fraud, intentional wrongdoing, gross negligence, death or personal injury caused by negligence, statutory consumer remedies, or enforceable privacy and data-protection rights.

20. Complaints and disputes

Please contact hello@nuzori.app to raise a concern, request an explanation, or seek a practical resolution. We will consider the complaint and explain available next steps. This informal route is optional unless a lawful, separately applicable procedure requires otherwise; it does not prevent urgent relief, regulator complaints, payment disputes, or court proceedings, and does not shorten a legal limitation period.

Subject to mandatory protections, these Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable there. Courts in Ontario, Canada may hear disputes, without excluding any right you have to bring proceedings in your home jurisdiction or before a competent tribunal. A choice of law cannot remove consumer or privacy protections that apply regardless of that choice.

These Terms do not require private arbitration or waive participation in a class, collective, or representative proceeding. Any proposed future arbitration agreement would require a separate legal assessment and any notice and assent required by law; it cannot be inserted retrospectively to defeat an existing claim.

21. Regional consumer provisions

California

Where California's dating-service laws apply, we will present the prescribed cancellation notice as a clear, conspicuous, standalone first paragraph of the California purchase contract, identify the actual seller and cancellation email, and provide the accepted contract in a retainable form. Nuzori will not offer a California paid plan until that contract and the required purchase and cancellation processes are available. We will also honor applicable unused-service refund rights relating to death or qualifying disability, and any other cancellation right the law provides. Where we rely on the online-service duration exception, each initial and renewal term will be no longer than one year. Before offering a California paid plan, we will also provide online-dating safety information and a route for reporting concerns, including hello@nuzori.app. A further copy of the contract is available from hello@nuzori.app.

New York

Where New York's social-referral-service law applies, the purchase must include its required separate Consumer Bill of Rights and compliant contract terms. Those terms must address the applicable cancellation, membership-hold, referral-performance, price and duration, and personal-material destruction requirements. A reference to mandatory law in these general Terms is not a substitute for supplying that required schedule.

Nuzori will not offer a New York paid plan until that schedule and the corresponding purchase, notice, cancellation, and data-handling processes are available. Where the statute requires notice about a fraud-banned member with whom you interacted, we will provide the required notice without disclosing unnecessary personal information.

South Africa

If South Africa's Consumer Protection Act fixed-term agreement rules apply, you may give 20 business days' recorded notice of early cancellation, subject only to a reasonable cancellation penalty where the law allows one. We will provide the required expiry notice and apply the statutory rules governing continuation at expiry. We will not charge a penalty merely for exercising a right to which no penalty may attach.

Where the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act cooling-off right applies, a consumer may cancel a covered online service transaction within seven days after conclusion, with the applicable statutory refund and exceptions. We will not assume that merely creating an account automatically removes that right. Required supplier and transaction information must be provided before checkout, including the required legal disclosures.

Nigeria and Kenya

Mandatory local consumer and contract rights, including applicable remedies for misrepresentation, unfair terms, improper billing, or failure to deliver the purchased service, continue to apply. Region-specific purchase notices will be shown where required. These Terms do not impose a foreign forum or refund restriction that overrides a protection you cannot lawfully waive.

Other locations

Access to a public page does not establish that paid or member features are offered in your location. Before enabling additional countries or US states, Nuzori must supply any required local terms and operate the necessary processes. If European, UK, Canadian, or other mandatory rights apply to a transaction, those rights are preserved regardless of the list of target markets.

22. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms to reflect a change in law, a new or altered feature, a safety requirement, or a change to how the Service operates. We will identify the updated version and effective date. Material changes will receive reasonable advance notice, ordinarily at least 30 days, unless a shorter period is necessary for legal or urgent security reasons and is lawful.

Where affirmative acceptance is needed, we will request it. A material change does not retroactively authorize an undisclosed charge, enlarge prior sensitive-data consent, make previously private content public, or remove an accrued remedy. You may close your account or cancel future renewal if you do not accept a material change; we will address any undelivered paid entitlement under section 16 and applicable law.

23. General provisions and contact

If part of these Terms is unenforceable, the remaining lawful provisions continue to apply to the extent they can operate fairly and independently. Any replacement interpretation must respect mandatory consumer protections. Failure to enforce a provision immediately is not a permanent waiver.

We may transfer operation of the Service to a successor as part of a lawful business transfer only with appropriate notice, continuity of applicable obligations, and the privacy protections described in the Privacy Policy. A transfer does not authorize unrelated reuse of sensitive information or deprive you of required cancellation or other rights.

These Terms, the accepted checkout details, and applicable regional schedules contain the agreement concerning Service use and purchases. They do not override separate legally valid promises made to you, mandatory law, or the specific information-processing limits explained in the Privacy Policy.
